There are minimum requirements that Korean Air expects from applicants. These must be fulfilled in order for you to be successful in passing inital pre-screening and to be invited to interview.

	· Should you lack the required PIC on type, you may convert 50% of your FO hours on type, contributing up to a maximum of 500 hours to your PIC on type total.
	i.e.
	1000 hrs. FO time on type -> 500 hrs. PIC time on type
	2000 hrs. FO time on type -> 500 hrs. PIC time on type (maximum 500 hours converted)
	500 hrs. FO time on type -> 250 hrs. PIC time on type (50% of hours converted)
	 
	· Last flight on type must be within one year. If another multicrew jet transport has been flown in the meantime your last flight on type can be within two years.
	· Captain applicants must be aged less than 60 years old at the point of joining – please take into account a lengthy recruitment process.
	· English Language Proficiency of at least Level 5. 
	 
	 
	 
	Non-Type Rated:
	Current opportunities for type rated candidates only. 
	We have ceased processing NTR applications at this time.
	 
	 
	First Officers:
	All First officer recruitment has been canceled and is unlikely to return.

	Russian & Thai ATPL Holders
	Due to difficulties verifying licences and hours operated with the Russian CAA, Korean Air are currently unable to accept applications from Russian ATPL holders. Please contact Apply@cclaviation.com should you hold a Russian ATPL, we will assist with determining if an application is possible for you.
	Due to Thailand currently being an IASA State Category 2 country, Korean Air are currently unable to accept applications from Thai ATPL holders. Please contact Apply@cclaviation.com should you hold a Thai ATPL, we will assist with determining if an application is possible for you.
